Update: ordered the orange chicken (level 3) and Mongolian beef (level 3). The orange chicken, to me, tasted pretty identical to the general's chicken. The Mongolian beef is absolutely amazing. I would both order it again and recommend it to anyone. more like a 3.5 but i rounded up. Ordered: crab Rangoon & general's chicken (level 2) with lo mein Rangoons were good. I asked abt the spice levels and was told that if it had a shoe pic next to it that it was already spicy so if you were worried abt spice, to knock it down a notch bc it was already coming spicy. So I got a 2 - and it was actually pretty sweet. Which ended up being okay bc the main lo mein seasoning was sriracha. mixed them together and it was good. Generals comes with cucumber mixed in - not mentioned on the menu - just good to know, i liked it but i know they can be divisive. overall i want to come back, but wasnt overly wowed but it was for sure good! lastly, they had a movie on that actually looked very good, going to watch it when i get home :) thanks to the server for getting me the name!

The food here is amazing and the service is outstanding. If you like great Chinese food, a nice atmosphere and outstanding service, this is your place. Also, if you like your food with more spice and heat, it doesn't get any better than this. You can have your food prepared without any spice and heat all the way to my mouth is on fire and anything in between. I highly recommend!

Spicy but tasty. This restaurant offers a great experience with an amazing atmosphere! The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and attentive! The food does have a spice levels that you can tailor per order! They do it by a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the spiciest! Will definitely return but lower the spice levels on my order haha!

had driven/walked by so many times I finally was able to try and order a few takeout entrees on a Monday night. Couldn't believe how busy it was but they have a great takeout/delivery order fulfillment system to keep a great ambiance in the dining room. I got the How-Fun Noodles with Beef and it was so flavorful and filling. Definitely will be back!

One time there and I'm obsessed!!!! The food is so delicious!! I had the general tso chicken and my husband had beef and broccoli with brown sauce. We also had egg rolls. The sauces on the meals were sooo good and the general tso has pickled cucumber slices in it which is odd but soooo good. The bartender was really friendly. The restaurant was small but cozy and the ambiance was so welcoming and fun. I will be back for sure! Every dish coming out to other tables looked amazing so I really want to try more things.

Kung Food Chu's has had a real glow up over the last few years- it may have been longer but living in California I don't get to visit as often as I'd like. It's still a super popular spot, but now it has a lot more seating than I remember. They also have a waitlist that you can get on that helps when you visit at their more busy times. You really can't go wrong with any of their food. The Big Bertha Egg Roll and really any of their dumplings and potstickers are a must. So tasty. The Generals Chicken and Chow Fun are also some of my favorite items to order. I would suggest going or getting takeout with friends and ordering a bunch of items to enjoy family style. It's the best way to find your favorites and get a little bit of everything.
